The Emerald Coast Bead Society was formed in 1995 when a group of local artists gathered to create a forum where beads and jewelry related information could be shared. Our objective is to educate all who are interested in the historic and artistic importance of beads and beadwork.
Our members teach classes in beadwork and other crafts. Workshops in various bead and art techniques are arranged through local galleries and guilds.
Membership privileges include meetings, lectures, newsletter subscription, and priority notification status of traveling bead vendors. ECBS members have the opportunity to participate in two art/bead/jewelry shows as well as a bead retreat each year.
If you are interested in becoming a member you may attend one of our meetings without joining. Dues, which are due in January, and not prorated, are $35 per year. Meetings are held the third Monday of every month at 6 PM at The Wright Place, 80 East Wright Street, Pensacola.
